Meet Josh Moore. Josh is the proud owner of Broadside Reclaimed Hardwoods which specializes in bringing high quality, beautiful, sustainable, and unique reclaimed hardwood products to local customers in Bend, Oregon and those across the United States. Broadside has  partnerships with Appalachian suppliers and mills allowing them to source only the highest quality reclaimed wood salvaged from old barns and other antique structures from across the United States.

Please tell us a little bit about your family. 

A: I have 2 children, one boy, one girl.

Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?

A: “I own Broadside Reclaimed Hardwood, I love helping people create one of a kind spaces in their home or business with unique reclaimed wood products.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

A: “Velvet, Brother Jon’s Public House.”

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

A: “5 years.”

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

A: “Not sure.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: “Marc Schneider.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: “Ozark.”

Q: What advice would you give to people?

A: “Do not judge other unless you want to be judged.”

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

A: “Broadside Reclaimed Hardwood.”

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?

A: “Jonny Walker, British enduro racer.”

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: “How clean the downtown is.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: “Operating a successful business, traveling more.”

A: “To race a hard enduro event.”

A: “Led Zeppelin.”
